Julian Hill joined the practice in 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and obtained his doctorate at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Texas and was a fellow in the Medicine Branch at the National Cancer Institute in the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Hill has kept abreast of current medical knowledge through course work with American Society of Clinical Oncology and, most recently, at Harvard University Medical School. He co-founded Health Link PPO and served as its chairman for many years. He has served as chairman of the Department of Medicine, chairman of the Medical Staff and chairman of the Credentials Committee at North Mississippi Medical Center. He has published more than a dozen articles in abstracts and medical journals during his career. Dr. Hill also obtained a grant from the NIH that established the North Mississippi Clinical Community Oncology Program, which allowed more than 500 area patients to participate in NIH-approved clinical trials.
